This once pretty cottage in Beachlands had become tired and run down and it was now time for an image overhaul.
Originally a 3 bedroom fibro clad cottage, the family needed more space for their growing children.
We added on 3 new modern bedrooms to the rear of the property, allowing space for the original house to be converted into a large open plan lounge/kitchen and entertaining area.
The roofline was dramatically changed and replaced to modernise the look of home and take advantage of the north facing aspect.
The home was reclad with a contrast of vertical and traditional weatherboards, fully reinsulated and fitted with new double glazed joinery. This has made significant improvements in reducing exterior noise in the home.
